About Me

My photo
Florian Mueller
I comment on intellectual property and competition issues facing the technology industry. I have published two mobile games and am currently working on a productivity app. I also advise clients (most of whom have historically hailed from the financial services industry) on developments in litigation, regulation, and politics. None of those working relationships impact my independence. I write what I believe to be the truth in analysis and seek to maximize my "hit rate" in predicting outcomes. I don’t speak for others, take direction, or run my writings by anyone. Clients currently include--in some competition contexts that affect my own interests as an app maker--Microsoft, which I am disclosing at their request as I already did in 2011. I also wish to acknowledge that I was a consultant to Blizzard (now part of Activision Blizzard King) for several unforgettable years.
